The official currency is the convertible mark (KM/BAM). The euro is not legal tender. Cards are common in cities, but cash is useful in smaller places, markets and for parking.

Driving, tolls and parking

Bosnia and Herzegovina has no nationwide vignette. Tolls apply on some motorway sections. Mountain and regional roads can take longer than the distance suggests.
